Chapati Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of atta flour (You can buy this flour at grocery stores)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1tsp of ghee/butter
  • 65 ml of warm water

Method

  1. Prepare dough by mixing together 1 cup of atta flour, 1/2 tsp salt, 1tsp ghee and just enough water
  2. Knead well
  3. Keep aside for 45 mins
  4. Take some dough and make into small balls (size half of a tennis ball)
  5. Dust with wheat flour/atta flour
  6. Roll in rolling pin
  7. Roast both sides on wok
