Ingredients
- 230ml water
- 70ml rice flour (sieved)
- 1 tbsp wheat starch (tung mien fun)
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 tsp vegetable oil
- spring onion
- dried shrimps
- sesame seed
Method
- Add 230ml water into a bowl
- Sieve rice flour in
- Add wheat starch & corn starch, salt, oil & stir continuously until no lump
- brush tray with oil
- Stir flour mixture to prevent flour from settling below with ladle (leave aside for 1 hour at least)
- Pour 1 ladle into your brush tray
- Add in harmai (dried shrimp) and chung (slice spring onions)
- Steam for 7 mins
- Remove tray, brush a little oil and fold your cheong fun
- Slice into pieces.
- Garnish with sesame seed
Sauce
2 tsp sugar
4 tsp warm water
4 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
