Chee Cheung Fun Recipe rice noodle roll recipe



  • 230ml water
  • 70ml rice flour (sieved)
  • 1 tbsp wheat starch (tung mien fun)
  • 1 tbsp corn flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp vegetable oil
  • spring onion
  • dried shrimps
  • sesame seed


  1. Add 230ml water into a bowl
  2. Sieve rice flour in
  3. Add wheat starch & corn starch, salt, oil & stir continuously until no lump
  4. brush tray with oil
  5. Stir flour mixture to prevent flour from settling below with ladle (leave aside for 1 hour at least)
  6. Pour 1 ladle into your brush tray
  7. Add in harmai (dried shrimp) and chung (slice spring onions)
  8. Steam for 7 mins
  9. Remove tray, brush a little oil and fold your cheong fun
  10. Slice into pieces.
  11. Garnish with sesame seed

2 tsp sugar
4 tsp warm water
4 tsp soy sauce
2 tsp sesame oil
