Ingredients
- 1 cup of wash moong dhal ( or any dhal) – soak at least 3 hours – 4 hours
- 1/4 inch ginger (chopped)
- 1 green chilli (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- enough water to blend
- ghee/butter to fried
Method
- Blend dhal with salt, water mix and green chilli
- Pour into a bowl
- Then mix in cumin and salt
- Melt 1tbsp of butter into wok, make sure it’s hot
- Pour 1 cup or lesser of batter and using a ladle, smooth the batter from inner to outer in a circular motion
