Dried Shrimp Sambal Recipe

Ingredients

  • 250g dried shrimp (blend)
  • 185g shallots
  • 40g garlic
  • 40g dried chilies (blend)
  • 1 1/2 tamarind peel
  • 2 tbsp of palm sugar
  • 2 – 3 cm of belacan
  • oil

Method

  1. Heat wok oil and add garlic, shallot
  2. Add chilies paste stir fry.
  3. Add blended dried shrimp and stir fry
  4. Add belacan
  5. Add palm sugar, tamarind peel
  6. Cook till dry or semi dry.
