Ingredients
- 2 cups Basmati rice, washed and drained
- 4 cups water, adjust accordingly
- 5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 25gm butter
- 1 and 1/4tsp salt
- A pinch of turmeric powder
- 5tbsp grated carrot
- A little pinch of anchovies stock (optional)
Method
- Wash and drain rice, add garlic, butter, salt, turmeric power, carrot and anchovies stock into a bowl.
- Steam for 30 minutes
