Ingredients
- 1/2 coconut milk
- 1 tsp of asam jawa juice
- 3 tbsp of palm sugar
- 5 cloves of garlic (mince)
- Ginger 2 cm mashed (blend with coconut milk)
- Tempoyak 4-5 tbsp (blend with coconut milk)
- Few piece of kaffir lime leaves (slice)
- A few dried chilies
- 1 red chili (slice)
- A few cili padi (cut with scissors)
- Tempeh (slice into bite size)
- Brinjal half(slice)
- Cucumber half (slice)
- Long beans (cut 5 cm each)
- Lady Fingers
- Carrot half (slice)
- 2 Potato diagonal halves
- 1 holland shallot (slices)
- 1 lemon grass (serai) slice half (blend with coconut milk)
- Sambal paste i use 2 from my earlier cooking
- ** Sambal ikan bilis
- ** Dried Shrimp Sambal
- Add salt for taste.
Add few tbsp of cili powder and kari ikan powder if not enough taste
Method
- Heat wok with cooking oil/coconut oil/lard oil.
- Stir fry garlic and holland shallots.
- Add in blended (coconut milk + tempoyak + serai)
- Add both sambals (5 tbsp each) and stir fry for a while.
- Add potato, cover with lid till potato soften
- Then add the rest of the mix vegetables & tempeh, asam jawa juice,serai, cili padi, dried chilies.
- Add palm sugar and salt for taste.
