Nasi Impit Recipe (Compressed Rice Recipe)


  • 2 1/2 cups of Basmathi Rice
  • 3 1/2 cups of water
  • 1/2 tsp salt


  1. Wash rice. Then cook over medium heat till water is absorbed.
  2. Grease a square baking pan with olive oil / butter.
  3. Put rice into square baking pan and press down hard, press edges and all area.
  4. Set aside to cool and place into refrigerator bottom part.
  5. Cut into small squares cube when ready to serve with Satay peanut sauce
