Okara – What to do with Okara

There are many Okara Recipes on the web you can make use after you milk out your soya bean milk.

I found a method which is a traditional Japanese Okara recipes.


  • Okara (pulp from 500 gm of Soya bean)
  • 2 tbsp of sea salt
  • 3 tbsp of sesame oil


  1. Toast okara using wok for 10 – 15 mins
  2. Add 2 tbsp into Okara
  3. Add sesame oil
  4. Serve with salad, rice of snacks.
  5. Keep the remaining into fridge.
