Omit this ingredients if you’re using Idiyappam mix flour
- 1 Cup Rice Flour
- 1 Cup Water
- Salt to taste
Method
(This method is for those using Idiyappam mix flour in packet form)
- Boil 600ml water
- Remove from heat
- Then mix Idiyamppam mix flour into hot water to make a dough (500gm iddiyappam ready mix flour)
- Press into string hoppers using idiyappam presser
- Steam for 5 minutes
- Served with grated coconut and gula melaka or palm sugar
