Thai Mango Sticky Rice Recipe


Soak the glutinous sticky rice overnight.

Steam glutinous rice for 20 mins with 1/4 cup of water pour onto the rice

While steaming your glutinous rice, prepare the sauce for the rice. Add the 1/2 cup of coconut milk to a pan with the 1 tablespoons sugar & 1/4 teaspoon salt, and stir over low heat until dissolved. Set aside.

After 20 mins pour your sauce onto rice and let it rest for 30 mins.

Slice mango and arrange on the plate.

Prepare your cream sauce. 1/2 cup of coconut milk (santan), 1/2 tsp salt, 1 1/2 tsp white sugar, 1/2 corn starch. Cook over low fire for 2 to 3 mins.

Serve your glutinous rice by pouring cream sauce onto your glutinous rice.
